humble little dandelion. ordinary pest to most yet the seed heads are full of delight for kids. the leaves & vitamins are apparently full of vitamins and good to put in salads.
i love the geometry of the seed head structure. a configuration that is popular with fountain designers. this one is in Christchurch NZ

this is the dandelion fountain at kings cross near where we lived in sydney. i used to marvel at how grand and impressive this weed looked as a giant public fountain
